Worthington, George Edward, acting district judge, a commissioner of court of requests, police magistrate, etc., Kalutara since 1881, of Ceylon civil service since 1859, a student of Lincoln's Inn 3 May, 1869 (then aged 32), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1878 (2nd son of Rev. James William Worthington, D.D., rector of Trinity, Gray's Inn Road, London); born 1837.
