Chapter XCII.

Triphylius,[1] bishop of Ledra or Leucotheon,[2] in Cyprus, was the most eloquent man of his age, and was distinguished during the reign of Constantius. I have read his Commentary on the Song of Songs. He is said to have written many other works, none of which have come to our hand.
