In allowing for the lap and hem on the diagram, draw a line one-half inch beyond the center-front, as line CD, Fig. 32(b). This line will be the front edge of the blouse when it is finished. Beyond this line allow the hem. In this case, it would be an inch, as the fronts are to lap that amount. An inch beyond line CD draw line EF.
