Draw the lines AB and CD parallel.(See Fig. 45.) Make these lines the width you want the pocket and place them the distance apart that you want the pocket deep. Allow a hem at the top and seams at the sides and bottom, as indicated by the dotted lines EFGH, Fig. 45. Cut out the pattern along these last lines.
