Stated by Sir Samuel Meyrick to have been made for Alfonso II, Duke of Ferrara. Italian in a later manner of Lucio Picinino of Milan, about 1570. The morion head-piece is associated, and does not belong to the remainder of the armour. Wallace Collection (Laking Catalogue, No. 483)
