Blücher, Lebrecht von, Prince of Wallstadt, created D.C.L. 15 June, 1814, D.C.L. by diploma 16 June, 1814, field marshal in the Prussian army, headed the right wing of the allied army under the walls of Paris 1814, defeated by Napoleon at Ligny 16 June, 1815, joined Wellington on the field of Waterloo, died at Silesia 12 Sep., 1819, aged 77.
