Green, Joseph Henry, created D.C.L. 9 June, 1853, the companion of Coleridge, and author of 'Spiritual Philosophy,' etc.; demonstrator of anatomy St. Thomas's Hospital 1815, and surgeon 1820, etc.; prof. of surgery King's College, London, 1830, on the council of the College of Surgeons, Hunterian orator 1840 and 1847, president 1849 and 1858, resigned all his appointments on the death of Coleridge 1834, he died 13 Dec, 1863.
