AMYNTAS.
What! Ah, me,
What dost thou say? What bring me? Life or death?

THYRSIS.
Life and salvation, if thou darest to meet them;
But thou must be a man, and dare indeed.

AMYNTAS.
What dare, and against whom?

THYRSIS.
Suppose thy lady
Were in the middle of a wood, which girt
With lofty rocks, harboured wild beasts and lions:
Would'st thou go join her?

AMYNTAS.
Aye, as full of joy,
And more, than holiday maiden to a dance.
