Change not thy chosen friend! That love hath wrought
                                      Is dearly bought.
Mutual consent in love affords
happy content in life. There is no pain
                                      To love in vain.
That want denies, goodwill supplies.
                                      No heart can starve,
My body heartless, my grief endless. Where love doth carve.
Good luck shall be my lot.
                                      The end doth try a
                                        faithful friend.

Live, love and die Take in good part
In faith and constancy. My loving heart!

As promise doth bind thee,
So let me find thee. When this you see,
                                       Remember me!
Gold pure, love a friend sure!
                                       Love not for gain,
A merry heart is life. True dealing is plain.

I give it thee
To think on me. Glad for your goodwill,
                                       Sad for [your] ill.
As you find me, so use me!
                                       Better dead, than doubtful.
I wish you joy.
                                       In trial trusty.
Nothing but to be.
                                       Far off, yet not forgot.
Let patience conquer grief!
Remember me, as I love thee.
A merry heart,
Puts by smart. When you see this,
                                       Wish me a kiss.
I would I were
With you, my Dear! I rest in hope, and time.

                                       Your stay, my wound.
I would be glad,
If you I had. I am constant, and love ever.

If so I may, No bravery to beauty.
I will not say "Nay."
                                       Reward desert.
I have done,
If you yield not soon. Hope, heart's handmaid.

                                       I live to love.
Spent is time,
And you not mine! Try as gold,
                                       Fear to be bold.
Remember me,
As I do thee. Cast my deserts!

                                       Pity my passion!
If you be pleased,
My heart is eased. Consent is sweet.

                                       Be resolute till death!
Thy death is mine,
My life is thine. Now, or never!
