Born, St. Louis, Missouri, September 27, 1860; public schools; married Katherine Gibbs, Winchester, Illinois, May, 1884; two sons; admitted Illinois Bar, 1882, Colorado Bar, 1888; for six years Prosecuting Attorney, Scott County, Illinois; member Denver Club, Masonic bodies, Knights of Pythias.
