Christ struggling on steps of the prison, over gateway of which is a bust of Tiberius ; his arms, bound at the wrists, held by kneeling soldier, while two men with long reeds press the crown of thorns on his head. Painted about 1553 ; probably taken in 1559 by Orazio Vecelli to Milan, where it adorned S. M. delle Grazie until removed to France beginning of this century. Duplicate in Venice Academy.
