The education provided intended that young people fully integrated with the community, its history, its religion and culture. It also managed to awaken the sense of sacrifice and individual selflessness, for the good of the community.

Teachers insisted that inner strength was the only thing men possessed, to deal with the mysteries of the world and the challenges of life.The House of the youth maintained a paramilitary structure and discipline; although there had not been any wars for many “bundles of years”.
