followers of Judaism gain power, than the disciples of Jesus, whom they considered as their bitterest enemies, began to experience their resentment. The causes which drew upon the Christians of Arabia Felix the enmity of Dzu Nowass, are variously reported by the Arabian historians, but the most credible are agreed that he was excited to their persecution by his Jewish advisers and subjects.[1]
