389 MECDLEWORK A THIRD LESSON IN CROCHET A Point Edging with Border— How to Use it to Trim a Cloth— Crochet Squares— How to Join Them Together A Crochet Point Edging; Cotton No. i6 and medium-sized hook. 1st row. — 1 6 chain i treble into yth chain from hook, 2 chain i treble into same place, 3 chain i treble into 4th stitch, i treble into next stitch, i treble into next stitch, 6 chain 3 trebles along remainder of chain. 2nd row. — Turn 3 chain 2 trebles over 2 trebles, 3 trebles on 3 stitches of chain, 6 chain 3 trebles along remainder of chain, 3 trebles over 3 trebles of last row, 3 chain I treble into 2nd space, 2 chain i treble into same place. ^rd row. — Turn 7 chain i treble in ist space, 2 chain i treble in same place, 3 chain 6 trebles over trebles of last row, 3 trebles on first three stitches of chain, 6 chain 3 trebles on remaining three stitches of chain, 6 trebles over trebles of last row.
