Luke xxii. 31, 32.--" And the Lord said: Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat.—But I have prayed for thee, that thy Faith fail not: and thou being once converted, confirm thy brethren.”

John xxi. 15, 16, 17."—“So when they had dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter : Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him: Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs.He saith to him again : Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee.
