I give to thee (replies the Priest,) the precious, and holy, and pure body of our Lord and God, and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for the remission of sin unto life everlasting.”Then receiving himself the holy bread, he says: “I believe, O Lord, and I confess, that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God, &c. P. 82. Deacon, approach. Behold, I come (replies the Deacon) to the Immortal King! I believe, O Lord, and I confess, that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,” &c. Then the Priest says: “Servant of God, Deacon N., thou dost communicate of the precious and holy body and blood of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for the remission of thy sins, and everlasting life.” Ibid. p. 83.
