John Dowle succeeded Foxton in 1627 or '628. He

died in 1 63 1 . Francis Mansell, installed 15th Dec. 1631. He died

in May 1665. His will is in the Prerogative Office of

Canterbury 26 . Francis Mi \d.\v, collated 1st Sept. 1665, and died

22nd Nov. 1678, setat. 65, and was buried in the

church of Welford in Berkshire. John Lloyd, collated 10th May 1679, an( l sworn in

30th June following. He was promoted to the bi- shopric of St. David's ; and o!>. [3th Feb. 16867. Jonathan Edwards, collated 22ml Feb. 1686-7. He

was principal of Jesus college, Oxford; and died 20th

July 1712. Richard Smalbbooke, collated 23rd Oct. 1712, and

installed 1st Nov. following. He became bishop of

St. David's.

The treasurership, with the prebend thereto be- longing, was annexed to the bishopric, in lieu of mor- tuaries, by an act of parliament 1 2th Anne.

9th Sept. following. Edmond Lymm held this in 16 10 and 1635. Roger Owens, collated 10th May 1677. William Sherborne died possessed of this stall in

1681. Barnabas Long, collated 10th July 1681.
