1675 Thomas Barlow, S. T. P., provost of (/ureas college 27Car.li. Omford and archdeacon of Oxford, was nominated by the King ist May 1675, an ^ elected on the 14th of the same month; he was confirmed 17th June, and consecrated in the chapel of Ely House, Ilolborn, on the 27th ss . He died 8th Oct. 1691, aetat. 85, and was buried at Buokden 89 .
1692 Thomas Ti nison, S.T.P., archdeacon of London, was

Dec, and the royal assent to his election was driven on the 19th of the same month' 1 : he was consecrated 10th Jan. 1691-2, and the temporalities were re- stored to him on the 18th of that month 93 . On 16th Jan. 1694-5 he was translated to Canterbury".
1695 James Gardiner, S.T.P., teuhdean of Lincoln, was no- wiii. 111. minated [8th Jan. [6945, elected 8th Feb., and re- ceived the royal assent 23rd 1 he was conse- crated loth March 96 , and the temporalities were restored to him on the following day 97 . He died 1st March 1704-5, in the 68th year of his age, and was buried in Lincoln cathedral 98 . His will, dated 12th May 1704. was proved 20th March 1704-5.
1705 William Wake, S. T. P., dean of Exeter, was nomi-
