Ralph Griffin, A.M., was* elected 17th Dec. 1584, and installed 7th April is^S 69 -

John Reynolds, S.T.P., was elected 10th Dec. 1593, and installed 28th March 1594. He exchanged this dignity in 1599 for the presidentship of Corpus Christ" college, Oxon 7 ", with

William Cole, S.T.P., who was collated 30th Dec. 1598, and installed 2nd June 1599. He died about Michaelmas 1600, and was buried in the cathedral 71 .

Laurence Staunton, S.T.P., was elected 8th May 1601, collated 20th May, and installed 6th June fol- lowing. He died 17th Sept. 1613, aetat 62, and was buried in the palish church of Uffington in the county of Lincoln 7 -.

Rogeb l'.utKi u, S.T.P., archdeacon of Bedford and pre- centor of Lincoln, was elected 29th Nov. 1613, and in- stalled 13th Dec. following, lie died 29th Aug. 1629, a?tat. 71, and was buried in the cathedral 73 . His will is in the Prerogative Office of Canterbury 74 .

Anthony Topham, installed 7th Sept. 1629. He died 22nd Oct. 1655 75 . After his death, the deanery was void till the Restoration.

Michael Hoxvwoon, S.T.P., was installed 12th Oct. 1660. He died 7th Sept. 1681, aetat. 85, and was bu- ried in the cathedral 76 . His will is in the^Prerogative Office of Canterbury " .

Daniel Brevint, S.T.P., was collated 3rd Jan. 168 1-2, and died 5th May i695 7s .
