He died 19th or 20th Jan. 1095—6. 1096 Samson: he was ordained a priest by archbishop An- 9 Will. II. selme 14th June 1096 at Lambeth, and consecrated the next day in St. PauFs cathedral, London ^^. He died at Westbury 5th May 1112^^. 1 1 15 Teoulfus or Theobald ^7 : he was nominated by the 15 Hen. I. King 28th Dec. 11 13, but not consecrated until 27th June 1115, the day that archbishop Radulph received his pall. He died 20th Oct. 11 23^8 at his manor of Hamton. 1125 Simon was elected 7th May (Ascension day) 1125, or- 25 Hen. I. dained priest on the 23rd of that month, and conse- crated the next day. He was enthroned 21st June^^. He died 20th March 1149—50^0. 1151 John de Pagham was consecrated 4th Mar. 1150-1^^. 16 Steph. He died at Rome 31st March 1157^'^. 1 158 A LURED or Alfred succeeded John de Pagham, though 4 Hen. II, Malmesbury makes him the successor of Simon.
