as last night. Got to bed about 10:30 p.m.

Meeker Colo. Meeker, Colorado, Aug. 15, 1909 August 15, 1909

Got up late. Bright and hot until 3 p.m., then cooler and sprinkled. In forenoon we finished putting up the badger Taxidea taxus skin. In Afternoon Robbins worked on prairie dog Cynomys leucurus and squirrel Sciuridae skins. We also aired all the bedding. For dinner we had beef pot roast, dumplings and brown potatoes. Pretty "swell" for camp life.
