In cutis (c), or dermis, find capillaries, nerve fibers, fat cells, two sweat glands and ducts, four oil glands (two in section), two hairs, three nerve papillæ, five papillae containing capillaries, two muscles for erecting hairs. In epidermis find flat cells, round cells, and pigment cells.
