Saponara.—Dwellings entirely destroyed;a few survivors, some of whom are wounded.
Tolve.—A great number of houses disfigured; no deaths.
Bella.—Some damage to the Campanile, the top of which falling injured the church. Fissures in two other churches and some private buildings.
Atella.—Much damage, but no deaths.
Guardia.—A hundred deaths and more wounded. Churches, chapels, and dwellings thrown down.
Matera.—Slight injuries.
Corleto.—Injuries to the buildings; nine dead and more wounded.
Sarconi.—The greater part of the houses thrown down, the rest disfigured. From twenty to thirty deaths already ascertained.
Castelsaraceno.—The greater part fallen. The number of victims great, but unknown.
Montemilone.—Great injuries to the houses and buildings, especially to the church, the roof of which is half destroyed; no deaths.
Muro, S. Fele, Castelgrande, and Pescopagano escaped with some damage to the buildings.
Matera.—By permission of the Archbishop, the seminary is dismissed as the building is injured. The nuns of St Lucia have gone to the Convent of the Annunciation for the same reason; the penitents, especially those who have no friends, have taken refuge in the monastery of S. Chiara.
Ferrandina.—About fifteen houses destroyed, also the town clock, and the roof of the cathedral; injuries more or less severe in the other houses and churches; four deaths.
Salandra.—A few houses destroyed; three deaths; churches and houses injured.
Craco.—Damaged. No death.

Cava.—The town hall almost a ruin. No death.
Baronissi.—The prison is injured ; the old houses, and especially the churches, have suffered. No death.
Olevano.—Injuries to some old houses.
