Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Our other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, To Our Right Trusty and Right Entirely Beloved Cousin and Counsellor Bernard Marmaduke, Duke of Norfolk, Knight of Our Most Noble Order of the Garter, Knight Grand Cross of Our Royal Victorian Order, Earl Marshal and Our Hereditary Marshal of England, Greeting!
Whereas for the greater honour and distinction of Our Colony of Hong Kong We are desirous that Armorial Ensigns and Supporters should be assigned for that Colony
Know Ye Therefore that We of Our Princely Grace and Special Favour have granted and assigned and by these Presents do grant and assign the following Armorial Ensigns and Supporters for Our said Colony of Hong Kong that is to say:— For Arms: Argent on Water Barry wavy in base proper two three masted Chinese junks in full sail bows inwards also proper on a Chief embattled Gules a Naval Crown Or And for the Crest: On a Wreath Argent and Azure A demi Lion Or Royally Crowned proper holding between the paws a Pearl also proper And for the Supporters: On the dexter side a Lion Or Royally Crowned proper and on the sinister side a Chinese Dragon Gold together with a Motto scroll inscribed with the words Hong Kong as
