The rule of the House requiring new matter to lie upon the table one day, was suspended, and the following resolution was taken up, read and adopted:
Resolved, That a committee of three lie appointed to invite some minister of the Gospel to hold divine service in the Representative Chamber on Thursday the 29th inst.. it being the day set apart by the proclamation of his Excelleny the Governor as a day of thanksgiving.
