Every hundredth year witnesses one of the grandest festivals of the Roman Catholic Church in San Vicente's honor. All the marvels of the ecclesiastical treasury are exhibited in the narrow Valencian streets. Twelve stout fellows carry the cross, which they are strictly enjoined not to set down.
