[Extract:] LaRUT, November 9th, 1875. "IN the second report, that of 7th instant, Sergeant Din states that he was told by one Kulup Riau that Mr. Swettenham had been murdered by the Raja Leta at Pasir Salak on the 5th instant. I regret to state that I have every reason to believe that the report is but too true.
