Mr. Haag is an hono- rary member of the Sod^t^ Boyale des Aquarellistes of Brussels. He received the Boyal Bavarian Cross of Merit in 1872. In 1874 he be- came an Officer of the Order of the Medjidi^, and in 1878 a Knight of the Legion of Honour of France.
