Geranium Traversii, Hook, fil.

A beautiful plant, confined to the Chatham Islands. It is allied to the world-wide G. dissectum but is easily distinguished by the larger size, stiffer leaves, covered with almost hoary down, and by the much larger flowers. It is well worthy of more general cultivation as a garden plant. It flowers in January.
