JOSEPH DE BARZIA.
I know of no preacher of his age who comes so near to
Paolo Segneri, the great luminary of Italian eloquence,
as this Spaniard, De Barzia. He flourished at the beginning of the seventeenth century, and was Bishop of Cadiz.
His works are:—

There is, I believe, a mistake in this title; Joseph de Barzia was not a Jesuit; at all events, the brothers Bacher have not included him in their catalogue.
