And if the Truth cannot be found in the Certificate of a Manner as is afore faid, then within a Month theri Riot - and the next following, thej-ftices, three, or two of them, ^j^™"' of and the Sheriff or Under-sheriff, fhali certify before the King ;md his Council all the Deed and Circum- ftances thereof, (2) which Certificate fhall be of like Force as the Prefentment of Twelve ; upon which Certificate the faid Trefpaffers and Offenders fhali be put to anfwer, and they which fhall be found guilty, . lhali be punilhed according to the Difcretion o'i the King and his Council.
