' the Common Seal of the chief Magiftrate in fuch Place or Places in Parts beyond the Seas, or under the ' Hands and Seals of two known Briti/li Merchants then being at fuch Place or Places, That fuch Coffee,

  • Tea or Drugs was there landed; which Provifion is found infufficient for the Security of the Revenue of

' Cuftoms againft any fecret relanding fuch Coffee, Tea or Drugs, in fome Part of this Kingdom : And in ' regard a better Provifion may be made with refpeft to fuch Goods exported to Ireland, as is made in the ' Cafe of Tobacco, by an Act made in the eighth Year of her faid late Majefty's Reign :' Be it therefore - . enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That from and after the firft Day of May one thoufand feven hundred After i May ' anc ^ nineteen, no fuch Bond given for the Exportation of Coffee, Tea, or other Certificate Goods ex- • 1719, no Bind ported to Ireland, fhall be delivered up, or any Drawback allowed for any Goods entitled thereto, until a for Fxporta-ion Certificate fhall be produced under the Hands and Seals of the Collector, Controller and Surveyor of the cf Certificate Cuftoms of fome Port in Ireland, or any two of them, where fuch Goods fhall be landed, teftifying tha toT-'deWred" Ending thereof; and for the future the Condition of all fuch Bonds, required by Law to be given for the up, or anyDrdw- Exportation of any of the faid Goods to Ireland, fhall be, to produce fuch Certificate in fix Months from back allowed, till the Date thereof (the Danger of the Seas and Enemies excepted;) and in cafe no fuch Certificate fhall be Certificate from produced within the faid rime of fix Months, it fhall and may be lawful for the Commiffioners of the Sec h th Cuftoms in England or Scotland refpectively to caufe fuch Bonds to be put in Suit, unlefs they fhall find Goods were fufficient Caufe to forbear the fame; any Law, Cuftom or Ufage to the contrary notwithftanding. landed, &c.
