Charges and Impofitions whatfoever, and the refpeftive Proprietors thereof fhall have good and fure Eftates Annuities to be therein, and fhall have Power to affign or devife his, her or their Eftate or Intereft of and in any fuch itemed Pcrfonal Annuity or any Part thereof, and fo toties quoties ; and no fuch Affignment fhall be revocable, fo as an Eftates, &c. and Entry or Memorandum of fuch Affignment or Will be made in Books kept for that Purpofe in the Office n,ay be affi 8 ncd - of the Auditor of the Receipt of Exchequer, within three Months after fuch Affignment or Death of the ^° A M 6n & cnt Devifor ; and that upon producing fuch Affignment or Will, or Probate thereof, in the faid Office of Re- ceipt, to be entred as aforefaid, the Party fo producing the fame fhall bring therewith an Affidavit, taken 9" Producing before one or more of his Majefty's Juftices of the Peace, of the due Execution of the faid Affignment or &£ 'panfui"^' Will, which Affidavit or Affidavits fhall be feverally filed in the faid Office ; and the proper Officers in the bring an Affida- faid Receipt of Exchequer are hereby required to make fuch Entry or Memorandum accordingly, and to vitofitsdue file the faid Affidavits ; and in Default of fuch Affignment or Devife by Deed or Will, the Intereft of fuch Execution. Perfon or Perfons fhall go to his or her Executors or Adminiftrators ; and it is hereby enafted, That the Officers of Ex- fame Annuities fhall be paid by the Officers in the Receipt of Exchequer without demanding or receiving Memorandum ' any Fee, Gratuity or Reward for the fame. & c . Annuities to be paid by Officers in Exchequer without Fee, XLIV, Provided always, That out of the Monies arifing or to arife at the Exchequer as aforefaid, of Officers to bere- the faid SurplufTes, Exceffes or Overpluffes, called the Sinking Fund, it fhall and may be lawful to and for war ded out of the faid Commiffioners of the Treafury, or any three or more of them, or the High Treafurer for the Slnkln £ Fund * Time being, to reward the Officers and Clerks in the faid Receipt for their Pains and Service in paying the fame Annuities, and to fatisfy fuch incident Charges as fhall neceffarily attend the Payment thereof; any former Law or Statute to the contrary notwithftanding. XLV. Provided alfo, and it is hereby enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That at any Time, upon Annuities when publick Notice to be printed in the London Gazette, and affixed upon the Royal Exchange in London, by t0 determlne ' Authority of Parliament, at any of the four moft ufual Feafts of the Year, and upon Repayment by Par- liament of the refpeftive Principal Sums for which the fame Annuities fhall be payable, to fuch refpeftive Perfons and Corporations as fhall be entitled to the fame Annuities, and alfo upon full Payment of all Ar- rearages of the fame Annuities to be computed by the Day, after the Rate of three Pounds per Centum per Annum, till fuch aftual Repayment, then and not till then the fame Annuities fhall ceafe and determine ; any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithftanding ; and that any Vote or Refolution of the Resolution of Houfe of Commons fignified by the Speaker in Writing, to be inferted in the faid London Gazette, and ^ Hou(eof affixed on the Royal Exchange in London as aforefaid, fhall be deemed and adjudged to be fufficient Notice f erted ° b " s '^ e within the Words and Meaning of this Aft. And be it enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Additional Duty upon Apples How, and under imported, fhall be raifed, levied, recovered and paid, and be brought into his Majefty's Exchequer, by fuch what Penalties Rules, Ways, Means and Methods, and under fuch Penalties and Forfeitures, and in fuch Manner and to belaid. Form, as the other Duties upon Apples imported, or any of them are by any Aft or Acts of Parliament . now in Force, prefcribed or appointed to be raifed, levied, recovered, anfwered and paid. XLVIII. And be it enafted by the Authority aforefaid, That the faid Additional Duty upon Apples To what Ufe imported (except the neceffary Charges of Management thereof) is and fhall be applied for or towards a PP lied - making good the Services for which his Majefty's Supply, granted in this Seffion of Parliament, is by this Aft appropriated or applicable.
