" Borrowers on Soutb-Sea Stock', who have lapfed their Payments, paying to the Company's Cafhier fo " much as a Rate of 10/. per Cent, on the Sums borrowed. One Moiety by 2.4. Dec. 1723, and the " other by 24 June 17Z4, with Intereft from Z5 June 1720, difcharged from all further Demands of the " Company, and the Stock vefted in the Company. Broker difcharged paying 20/. per Cent. Claimants " on late Directors Eftates, who have lapfed their Time, may enter their Claims before the Truftees " by 24 June 1723. No Sale already made before 24 May 1723, avoided: But the Debts allowed by " the Truftees, to be paid out of Effects in their Hands. Claimers on forged Deeds, or fatisfied Se- " curity, forfeit the Value of the Thing claimed. All Suits for Debts fpecified in the Inventories, &c. " (except by way of Complaint) fhall be void. Claims made by Perfons refiding in Great Britain for " Perfons in Eajl-lndia or America, to be heard as if made by the Parties themfelves." EXP. CAP. XXIV. An Act to oblige all Perfons, being Papifts, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland., and all Perfons in Great Britain refufing or neglecting to take the Oaths appointed for the Security of his Majefty's Perfon and Government, by feveral Acts herein mentioned, to re- gifter their Names and Real Eftates. ' I. ITT H E R E A S fince his Majefty's happy Acceffion to the Crown of thefe Realms, divers Rebel- EXP. ' W lions, Infurrections and traiterous Confpiracies have been entred into and carried on, for the ' Deftru<3ion of his Majefty's moft facred Perfon and Government, the overturning our religious and ' civil Rights, and for placing a Popifh Pretender on the Throne : And whereas the Papifts and other I* Perfons refufing to take the Oaths appointed by Law to be taken to his Majefty, have enjoyed, and do ' ftill enjoy the Protection and Benefit of the Government, as well as the reft of his Majefty's Subjects, I ' yet have been notoriously concerned in contriving, ftirring up and fupporting the faid Rebellions, Infur- ' re£tions and Confpiracies, by which it moft manifeftly appears, that they take themfelves to be obliged,

' by the Principles they profefs, to be Enemies to his Majefty and the prefent happy Eftablifhment ; and

enatted, &c. uGeo. z. c 17. " Perfons who fhall neglect to take the Oaths on or before 25 Dec. 1723, fhall before 25 March regifter " their Names and real Eftates. In Scotland to take the Oaths before 25 March, or regiftor before " 24 June. Or fhall forfeit their Lands." CAP. XXV. An Act for making more effectual an Act paffed in the eighth Year of his prefent Majefty's Reign, inti- tuled, An Ail for fupplying the Records of the Commiffary Court of Aberdeen, burnt or lojl in the late Fire there.
