'HERE AS it has by Experience been found imprafticable, or extremely difficult, for fome of h.is Majefty's dutiful and loyal Subjefts in Scotland, whofe Dwelling-houfcs were invaded or rifled by the Rebels during the late Rebellion, and whofe Title Deeds and Writings, or Part of them, were ear- ned ofF or deflroyed by the Rebels, to difcover, within the Time limited by an Aft made in the twentieth Year of his Majefly's Reign, intituled.
