XV. And as to the faid Sum of thirty-eight thoufand Pounds by this Ad appropriated on Account j^^j^.^ ,p [^^^^^ of Half-pay as aforefaid ; it is hereby enaded and declared by the Authority aforefaid, That the Rules fcved in the herein after prefcribed fhall be duly obferved in the Application of the faid Half-pay ; that is to fay. Application of That no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, who was a Minor, and under the Age ^'^^ ^^'^'P^^' of iixteen Years, at the Time when the Regiment, Troop or Company, in which he ferved, was reduced; See 30 Gcc. 2, that no Perfon fliall have or receive any Part of the fame, except fuch Perfons who did at"^ual Service '• -^' ^ in fome Regiment, Troop or Company ; that no Perfon having any other Place or Imployme.it of Pro- fit Civil or Military, under his Majefty, fhall have or receive any Part of the faid Half-pay ; that no Chap- lain of any Garrifon or Regiment, who has any Ecclefiaftical Benefice in Great Britain or Ireland, [hall have or receive any Part of the faid Half-pay ; that no Perfon fhall have or receive any Part of the fame, who has refio-ned his Commiffion, and has had no Commiilion fmte ; that no Part of the fame (hall be allowed to any Perfon by virtue of any V/arrant or Appointment, except to fuch Perfons as would have been otherwife intitled to the fame as reduced Officers ; and that no Part of the lame fhall be allowed to any of the Ofiicers of the five Regiments of Dragoons, and eight Regiments of Foot lately difbanded in Ireland, except to fuch as were lately taken off the Eftablilhment of Half-pay in Great Britain. ' XVI. And whereas by an Ad of Parliament made and pafTed in the twenty-eighth Year of his ^s Geo. i. c. 22, • Majefty's Reign, intituled, An A^ for granting to his MajeJJy a certain Sum of Money therein mentioned ' out of the Sinking Fund, and applying certain Monies remaining in the Exchequer, for the Service of the ' Year one thoufand feven hundred' and f fly- five ; and for carrying the Surplus of certain Duties to the ' Sinking Fund ; and for further appropriating the Supplies granted in this Scjfion of Parliament ; the ' feveral Supplies which had been granted to his Majefty, as is therein mentioned, were appropriated
