And be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid, That every Perfon or Perfons to whom any Money lhall.be due by virtue of this Act, after Order Entred in the Book or Regifter aforefaid for payment thereof, his Executors, Adnnniftr.aiors, or Afligns, by Indorfement of his Order may Affign and Transfer his Right, Title, lnteieft and Benefit of fuch Order, or any part thereof, to any other; which being .notified in the Office of the Auditor of Receipt aforefaid, and an Entry or Memorial there- of alfo made in the Book of Regifter . a.forefaiid for Orders; (which the Officers (hall upon requeft, with- out Fee .or Charge, accordingly make), (hall Entitle iuch Affignee, his Executors, Adminiftrators. or Affigns, to the Benefit thereof, and Payment thereon ; and fuch Affignee may in like manner Affign again, and fo toties quoties-, and afterwards it (hall not be in the power of fuch Perfon or Perfons who have or hath made fuch Alignments, to make void, releafe or difcharge the fame. LXII. Provided always, and be it enacted, That it lhall and may be lawful to and for his Majefty, his Heirs and Succeffors, out of the Duties arifing by this Act, to caufe fuch fu.m and fums of Money to.be expended, and; paid from time to .time for Salaries and other incident charges, as (hall be necef- fary in and for the receiving, collecting, levying or managing of the fame Duties, during the laid term therein by this Act granted ; any. thing herein contained to the, contrary notwithftanding. LXIII. Provided always and be it further enacted by the authority aforefaid, That all perfons com^ monly called, Quakers, or reputed fuch, and all Papifts or reputed Papifts, whether they are Popifh Recufants Convict, or not, and all Jews, or any other perfons who lhall cohabit and live together as . Man and Wife, (hall and are hereby; made lyable to pay the fev.eral and refpective Duties and fums of money payable upon Marriages, according to their refpective Degrees, Titles, Orders and Qualifications, as they ought to have paid by virtue of this Act, if they had been Married, according to the Law of England; which Duties and fums of Money fhall be collected, [levyed and paid in fuch manner, and Tubject to fuch rules and directions, and under fuch Penalties and forfeitures, as are in. this Act fpecified and contained, Tor and concerning payment of the fev.eral and refpective duties payable upon Marriages, any thing herein contained to the contrary notwithftanding ; and upon every pretended Marriage which fhall be made by any fuch perfon, within the faid term of Five years, according to the Method and Forms ufed amongft them, the Man fo entring into fuch pretended ftate of Matrimony, fhall within Five days after, give Notice thereof, to the Collectors, or one of them, of the Parifh or Place where he Lives; and in default of giving fuch Notice, he (hall forfeit the fum of Five pounds, one Moiety thereof to the Kings Majefly, the other Moiety to the Informer. LXIV. Provided always, That nothing herein contained (hall be conftrued to make good or effectual in Law any fuch Marriage or pretended Marriage, but that they fhall be of the fame Force and yirtupj and no other, as they would have been if this Act had never been made.
