Repentance unto the remission of sins. Brethren, on every anniversary of their conquest by the Romans, the Jews of Palestine are wont to drape themselves in mourning garb, and marching to sad and solemn music through Jerusalem's streets they bewail with tears and lamentations their nation's downfall, their ruined homes, and the departed glories of their Temple.
