196 from loving and serving God. Now which is worse, to be bitten by a dog or to be devoured by Satan? The boy felt afraid of the dog; do you ever feel afraid of Sa- tan? Do you feel afraid to commit sin, and go into bad company? and do you stop and think sometimes where your soul is going, and do you feel anxious to be kept from going to hell when you die? Now when you feel afraid and sorry for your sins, then you will begin to do or act.
