A, Signifies the ſtopple of Glaſs ground very ſmooth and fit to the mouth of the Veſſell.

B, The Glaſs-Body.








But the beſt way is to have a Crooked Pipe, which may have Quick-ſilver in it, and be well luted to the body that no Spirit can get forth: and by this means the Glaſs will never break, for the Quick-ſilver will firſt yeeld.
