VPON THE

SEPVLCHER

OF MIDVS.

Cut in Brasse, in the

FIGVRE OF

A

VIRGINE.

A maid of Brasse, I am, Infixed here-
T'Eternise Honest Midus Sepulcher.
And while the streame, her fluent seede receiues;
And steepe trees curle their verdant brows with leaues;
While Phœbus, rais'd aboue the Earth giues sight;
And T'humorous Moone, takes Luster from his light;
While floods beare waues; and Seas shall wash the shore;
At this his Sepulcher, whom all deplore,
I'le constantly Abide; All passers by
Informing; Here, doth Honest Midus Lie.
