Kamharsain, Raja of; Hira Singh; b. 1851; Succeeded to the gaddi, 1874; Claims descent from Kirat Singh, the founder of the estate, who acquired the property by conquest. After the Gurkha war of 1815, it was given over to Rana Kahar Singh, on condition of rendering feudal service to the paramount power: area of the State, 90 square miles; poplation, 11,735.
