Muhammad Bakhtuar Shah, Prince Sahibzada. C.I.E. (1898); s. of late Prince Anwar Shaw, grandson of Tippu Sultan of Mysore; takes great interest in Public movements of the day and is a liberal supporter of schemes for the good of the country; nominated Member of the Corporation of Calcutta. Address: 6, London Street, Calcutta, India.

Muhammad, Hon’ble, Habibulla, Khan Bahadur, Vellore: b. 1867 owns extensive house and landed property in and around Vellore; is an Additional Member, Legislative Council, Madras. Address: Vellore, Madras Presidency, India.

Muhammad Hamdam, Sardar, Ludhiana; g.s. of a former Amir of Afghanistan who was driven out of the country by Dost Muhammed; the family has been enjoying a pension of Rs. 3,600 per annum from the British Government together with a grant of 4,000 acres of land; succeeded his father, Shahazada Nazir, 1895; receives an annual pension of Rs. 1,200 from the Government; is a Divisional Durbarri, and a Tahsildar in the Gujarat District. Muhammad Munir, B.A., Khan Sahib (1898); b. 1867; educ: at the Government Madrassa, and the Madras Presidency College; passed B.A., 1889; Claims descent from the Carnatic family; Honorary Secretary of the Madras Anjuman-i-Islani for some years; joined service and rose to the position of Deputy Collector. Muhammad Nivaz Ali Kazi Hapizi; Diwan of Jaisalmer State; b. 1866; educ: at the Durbar School Sirohi; Mordabad Islamia Madrassa, and the High School at Ajmere; joined service, 1883; held various posts and was appointed Assistant Magistrate, Jaisalmer State, 1892; Superintendent.
