years. His next volume appeared in 1864; and during the last fifteen years of his life he published several small volumes—chiefly of sonnets, his favourite form of composition. After his death in 1879 his poetical writings were collected, prefaced by a short memoir written by his nephew, Mr. Hallam Tennyson, with some introductory memorial stanzas by the Poet Laureate.
The volume "Poems, by Two Brothers" was reprinted after the Poet's death in 1893, with the initials of the authors attached to each poem. It appears that four were by Frederick Tennyson.
