the First Day of October One thousand eight hundred and forty-three, Appointments to certain Ecclesiastical Preferments in the Dioceses of Saint Asaph and Bangor, and for securing certain Property to the said Sees," as relates to the Continuance of certain temporary Acts therein recited, shall be repealed; provided that nothing herein contained shall prejudice or affect any thing done or any Proceeding pending under or by virtue of or relating to the Provisions of the said therein recited Acts or either of them.

16. And be it enacted, That this Act may be amended or repealed by any Act to be passed in this Session of Parliament.

An Act for assigning Sheriffs in WALES.

"Whereas it is convenient that the Sheriffs in each of the Shires of Wales be nominated and appointed in like Manner as is used in other parts in England"; Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, That after the passing of this Act the Sheriffs in each Shire in Wales shall be assigned, ordained, nominated, and appointed at the same Time and Place and in like Manner and Form as is used according to the Law for Sheriffs in the Shires of England.

2. And be it enacted, That this Act may be amended or repealed by any Act to be passed in this Session of Parliament.
