No. 22. ECONOMIC AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL CONSULTATION BETWEEN THE FRENCH REPUBLIC, THE KINGDOM OF BELGIUM, THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS AND THE GRAND DUCHY OF LUXEMBOURG.

The Government of Her Majesty the Queen of the Netherlands, the Pro,isional Government of the French Republic, the Government of His Majesty the King of the Belgians and the Government of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, , being desirous of solving in a spirit of international co-operation the probiems of recovery and reconstruction in their territories which have suffered enemy occupation, anxious to maintain their co-operation in the future and hoping thereby to contribute to economic development throughout the world, have decided to conclude an agreement for economic consultation to this end and have appointed as their Plenipotentiaries: The Government of Her Majesty the Queen of the Netherlands: Mr. Boiss.vm, Netherlands Charg6 d'Affaires at Paris, The Provisional Government of the French Republic: Mr. Georges BmAULT, Minister for Foreign Affairs, The Government of His Majesty the King ofi the Belgians: His Excellency'Baron GUILLAUME; Belgian Ambassador at Paris, The Government of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg: Mr. FUNCK, Luxembourg Minister at Paris, who, having exchanged their full powers, found in good and due form, have agreed as follows:

Article I The High Contracting Parties shall consult together with a view to affording each other mutual aid and conciliating their interests in the following domains: .

(a) Supply of foodstuffs and provision of essential goods;

. (b) Reciprocal provision of the, raw materiah 'and equipment essential to the recovery of agriculture and industrial productioir;
