PUBLIC LAW 99-410—AUG. 28, 1986 SEC. 203. REPEALS.
The Federal Voting Assistance Act of 1955 (42 U.S.C. 1973cc et seq.) and the Overseas Citizens Voting Rights Act of 1975 (42 U.S.C. 1973dd et seq.) are repealed. 42 USC 1973ff
SEC. 204. EFFECTIVE DATE.
The amendments and repeals made by this Act shall apply with respect to elections taking place after December 31, 1987. Approved August 28, 1986.
