To provide for a temporary increase in the public debt limit.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a) during the period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act and ending on July 17, 1987, the public debt limit set forth in subsection (b) of section 3101 of title 31, United States Code, shall be equal to $2,320,000,000,000. (b) Effective on and after the date of the enactment of this Act, section 8201 of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986 is hereby repealed. - Approvea may xo, i » o (. '
