Designating August 9, 1988, as "National Neighborhood Crime Watch Day". Designating Labor Day Weekend, September 3-5, 1988, as "National Drive for Life Weekend". Presidential Transitions Effectiveness Act Agricultural Credit Technical Corrections Act of 1988 To authorize and request the President to issue a proclamation designating the third Sunday of August 1988 as "National Senior Citizens Day".
