104 STAT. 2300 PUBLIC LAW 101-523—NOV. 5, 1990 SEC. 6. DUTIES OF OTHER FEDERAL ENTITIES. Any Federal entity conducting or supporting activities directly affecting the Area shall— (1) consult with the Secretary and the Commission with respect to such activities; (2) cooperate with the Secretary and the Commission in carry- ing out their duties under this Act and, to the maximum extent practicable, coordinate such activities with the carrying out of such duties; and (8) to the maximum extent practicable, conduct or support such activities in a manner consistent with the provisions of this Act. SEC. 7. DEFINITIONS. As used in this Act— (1) the term "Area" means the area which incorporates those resources listed in section (1); (2) the term "Commission" means the Vancouver Historical Study Commission established by section 2; and (3) the term "Secretary" means the Secretary of the Interior. SEC. 8. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act. Approved November 5, 1990.
